Nissi Beach Only three kilometers west of Ayia Napa. These closely connected twin beaches attract thousands of tourists every year. Nissi, which in Greek means "small island", gives a new dimension to the beauty of the landscape. It is well sheltered from the wind and facilitates all sea sports. The Other unique features of Nissi Beach are its gently shelving shoreline and its very shallow and crystal clear waters. The beach offers plenty of facilities including watersports, restaurants and bars. All this can be reached within seconds from the Nissiana Hotel premises as the beach stands just 100 metres away. For those seeking a more secluded beach, there is a lovely cove less than ten minutes walk from the hotel towards Macronissos. Many beach-lovers find that the water temperature in Cyprus remains warm from mid April right through to mid- November and choose to travel in Spring or Autumn for a cooler and more tranquil setting.(Source: http://www.agianapa.gov.cy)
